I have my own room now! I am so excited to have my own bedroom that I don't have to share with my big brother, Steven. I even have a desk and a cabinet where I can keep my favorite books and toys all picked up and put away, and I get to choose what pictures to put on the walls. Best of all, no one is talking to me while I am trying to sleep (or at least, that's what I tell everyone).

I still love animals. I don't have my cat, Sara, any more (Daddy was allergic to her), but I do have two goldfish in an aquarium. One is brown and the other is white, with a spot on his head. I named them Speeder and Niptoe. But I really like almost all animals. I love to read about cats, horses, manatees, bugs...just about any sort of animal. I want to have lots of pets when I grow up.

I'm in first grade this year, and I really like my teacher. She's the same one that my brother had for first grade. She's called me the wrong name a few times, but that's okay. She's really nice. I like being in school all day, but I don't always like the school lunches. Today we had a hamburger. I hate hamburgers! Next time I'll get mom to send me a tuna fish sandwich.

I like reading, writing, playing with Legos (Daddy has a neat Lego train set that I get to use sometimes!), and playing on the computer. I like to play board games, but sometimes I get tired of them and think they're boring.
