Reuben Ruminations:

: Curiously, many of Corner Bakery's breakfast paninis taste eerily similar, so I was apprehensive when I ordered the Reuben panini. I should admit that I ordered the 1/2 soup (cheddar broccoli) and 1/2 sandwich combo, so my panini is only 1/2 the size of what I assume to be a normal-sized Reuben. Please accept my apologies for not submitting dimensions, as my Reuben is currently half eaten. Luckily, the panini taste does not replicate the breakfast panini flavor. The bread is lightly buttered then lightly toasted. Admittedly, I was surprised that there wasn't more corned beef, which only measured 1/4" high. I am not a fan of saurkraut, so I was pleased that there was a minimal amount, but just enough to resemble a Reuben. The Swiss cheese was thoroughly melted, and a delicate layer of 1,000 Island dressing had been applied. Albeit a bit greasy to handle, I am pleased; although I wouldn't go so far as to considering manna from the gods. ()
